Postcard Art for Spring

It's time for some Spring-related postcard art! I got these beautiful stickers of fancy decorated eggs, and I wanted to do something with them.

With all three, I started with cutting down some postcard-sized substrates (4"x6"), and then covering them with a background layer of neutral-colored papers.  I played around with bits until it started to come together. I was looking for florals, but also things that had a color that was found in the selected egg.

For this one below, I found this red bird to match the red in the egg. The stamp with maroon coloring also compliments the egg.

For this last one, I wanted to use lots of bunnies! These are stamps from the USPS. They are "additional ounce" stamps, so they are worth 20 cents each. I bought a sheet of them for $4.
