2021 ATC art exchange

The second exchange of the year is underway, and it's all about ATCs. The swap is open until August 15th.

An ATC is an artist trade card. It's a little piece of art on something the size of a standard playing card. In this exchange, we are creating cards with 4 ATCs on them, like this photo below, created by my friend Ronda Winstead.

The finished card is 5 inches x 7 inches. Each ATC measures 2.5 inches x 3.5 inches. The recipient gets to decide if they will cut the card into 4 individual pieces, or keep it whole.

What's so neat about these cards is that all 4 are different, yet they share the same theme and style. This one is done by Shallale Figaro.

Here are more details:

  • Each card is 5 inches wide x 7 inches tall. Converted to millimeters, that's 127 x 177.8 mm.
  • No particular theme - whatever you'd like
  • Mail in up to 4 cards
  • Due date: August 15
  • No bumpy embellishments - paper only
  • On the back, write your name, date, and location in the 4 areas of your ATCs.
  • $6.99 to participate

Sign up is done through the Collage Art Collective. Once you are inside, navigate to CIRCLES in the menu.

If you'd like more info about how to create the cards, I give a closer look in my video:
