Kids project – Folded butterfly

folded butterflyHere we go again with more butterflies. Well, why not? They’re so pretty!

With this project, I wanted V to see what happens when you paint something and then fold the paper in half. You get a mirror image on the other side, or at least you should.

I cut out the shape of a butterfly on a piece of white paper. I had her paint sections and then fold the paper in half to spread the paint to the other side.

And then of course we had to use the glitter glue after to make it all more colorful and shiny.

V enjoyed this. I liked it too. It was easy and you saw instant results.
